Siobhan acts as deputy Chair of Trustees for the TTT charity. She is an experienced teacher with 30+ years of experience and alongside this has volunteered in leading and supporting a range of church based youth groups and Sunday School groups, working across the age range from toddlers to sixth formers. She has regularly taken groups of local teenagers to annual Christian youth festivals across the summer months. This experience enables her to take an active interest in the practical content delivered through the TTT groups, as well as giving her an insight into youth group dynamics. She understands the paramount importance of safe guarding as well as the necessity to respond to individual youth needs.
An ongoing youth work role has been supporting the TTT as a volunteer at the weekly FUSE youth group for the past 7 years, along with volunteering at the TTT Summer Activities youth program for the past 2 years. As well as enjoying the regular contact and interaction with teenagers from the local area, this voluntary role gives Siobhan a first-hand opportunity to observe and support the role of TTT in one of their outreach groups.
"I'm excited at the opportunity of sharing my Christian faith in a practical way with young people within our local area and endeavouring to support them through some of the real challenges they face today."
